Larry Baschnagel Obituary
The memory of Larry Baschnagel of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 7, 2025 at the age of 66, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Baschnagel and Roylene Johnson (Scott). He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Baschnagel (Marshall Brown) and Brenda Sanders (Gary); his stepfather Virgil Johnson; his stepsister Debra Denzer (Bill); his nephew Alec Sanders; his niece Taryn Sanders; and his close friends, Helen Roth Peck, Rodney Wachter and Brandon Harmon (Brianna).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Open House.
In lieu of flowers, Larry requested memorials be made to the Iowa Humane Alliance of Cedar Rapids, Corgwyn Corgi Sanctuary of Oelwein, IA, Last Hope Animal Rescue of Cedar Rapids, Cedar Valley Humane Society of Cedar Rapids, or donate to your preferred no-kill pet rescue in your area on his behalf.
