She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lux and Gertrude Lux (Mc Donough); her husband Clifford Melchert of Luke's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Ralph Lux and Mary Hargrafen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Wise (Chuck) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kay Pirtle (John) of Billingsley, AL and Amy Lansing (Jim); her grandchildren, Beth Pirtle Smith (Kirby), Jake Pirtle (Alyssa), Lucas Pirtle, Kayla Lansing Green (Jackson) and Jonathan Lansing; and her great grandchildren, Lily Kate Pirtle, Wallace and Hendrix Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
