She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Richsmann and Leona Ruehlow Richsmann; her sister Shirley Dougherty; her parents-in-law, Wendell and Joan Michael; and her siblings-in-law, David Marth, Robert Thomas, Rodney "Boots" Hedegard and Marlene Marth.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Alan (Doug) of Riceville and Bradley Charles (Beak) of Charles City; her husband Roger Michael; her daughter Liz Hamm (Terry) of Charles City; her grandchildren, James Michael of Mason City, Sydney Michael of St. Ansgar, Rebecca Michael of Riceville, Wyatt Michael of Maquoketa, Kaylee Michael of Charles City, Kaleb Michael of Charles City, Dalton Hamm (Jill) of Mason City and Cally Hamm (Danielle) of Fort Gratiot, MI; her sisters, Barbara Frohling (Verlyn) of Story City and Marilyn Hedegard (Mona) of Kennset; and her siblings-in-law, Karla Thomas of Charles City, Brenda Olson of St. Ansgar and Ron Michael (Mary) of Floyd. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (200 S Main St, Charles City, IA 50616). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
