It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Felter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Charlson and Marie Charlson (Leegaard); and her siblings, Curtis Charlson, Mavis Cox, Delores Harms, Leona McFarlane and Oscar Charlson Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Nicole Faaborg (Rob), Darrin Felter (Bea), Sean Felter (Shar) and William Felter II; and her siblings, Ruth Gilbert, Paul Charlson (Mary), Judy Walders (Paul) and Linda Vernon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
