With solemn reverence, we commemorate Julie Kay Cernin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose life came to an end on December 9, 2024 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Larson and Elizabeth Larson (Minor); and her sister Joan Martz. She is survived by: her husband Fred Cernin of Cedar Rapids; her children, Tim Cernin (Becky) of Bettendorf, Andy Cernin of Cedar Rapids and Stacy Cernin of Cedar Rapids; and her grandchildren, Taylor Cernin and Colin Cernin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A vigil service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (50 Edgewood Rd NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, in Julie's name.
