With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Chalupsky of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on October 3, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph George and Mae George (Weldon); her husband Clay; her son Martin; her grandson Sam Jelinek; her son-in-law Scott DeVore; and her siblings, Joseph George, Ginger Church and Dorothy George.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Jelinek, Lynne DeVore and Hal Chalupsky (Linda); her son-in-law Jon Jelinek; her grandchildren, Benjamin Jelinek (Katrina), Madison Jelinek, Marcus DeVore, Allison DeVore, Clayton W. Chalupsky (Frankie) and Caralyn Chalupsky; and her sister Patti Hardman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to All Saints Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
