Judith left this world on December 10, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Hinckley and Ruby Hinckley (Krohnberg); and her brothers, Larry and Duane Hinckley. She is survived by: her husband William Schatz; her sons, Kevin Schatz (Joan) and Brian Schatz (Lynette); her grandchildren, Hannah Jansen (Caden), Nathanael Schatz (Jessica Meyer), Eric Schatz, Matthew Schatz and Rachel Schatz; her great grandchildren, Everett, Calvin and Wesley Jansen; and her sisters, Marilyn Thomsen and Carilyn Brehm.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (1340 3rd Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or NOMADS.
