It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Goldsberry of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Emmett Maguire; her husband Verne Goldsberry; her grandsons, Eric Pollett and Verne Hickman; and her sons-in-law, Bob Goebel and Roger Scribner.
She is survived by: her mother Irene Maguire (Heebner); her daughter Cathy Hickman (David); her grandsons, Nicholas, Phillip and Alex (Erica); her daughter Janet Perschek (Bud); her grandchildren, Rebecca (Chris), Suzy (Micheal), Patty (Jason) and Ben; her daughter Nancy Goebel (Paul McDermott); her granddaughters, Heather (Scott) and Marcy; her daughter Beth Scribner; her grandchildren, Roger (Jeanne), Chris and Andrew (Briana); her daughter Lisa Wright (Jon); her grandson Lance; her daughter Mickey Shannahan (Scott); her grandchildren, Katy (Cody Campbell) and Trevor; and her sister Pat Miller (Dick). She is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
