John L. Gourley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2024, at the age of 91, John L. Gourley of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin and Adelia Gourley (Burkey); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Pat Gourley; his children, Michael Gourley (Lori), Ken Gourley (Kathy), Margaret Smith (Sean) and Joseph Gourley (Kathy); his grandchildren, Stephanie Gourley, Alex Gourley, Jessica Wirtjes (Rob), Andrea Robison (Lucas), Kara Christensen (Darrin), Kurtis Gourley, Danielle Cunningham (Brandon), Samantha Nelson (Sam), Jeremy Gourley and Nathan Gourley; his sister Anita Osthoff; his sister-in-law Phyllis Gourley; and his aunt Edith Swanson. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
