John Hall Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Hall of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Maggie"; his daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Preedy; and his parents, Gladys Hall and Gordon Hall. He is survived by: his daughters, Geraldine "Gel" Hall (Ken Fotey), Rosalyn "Roz" Cooper and Lucy Victoria Hall. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to Habitat for Humanity, Doctors Without Borders, or the University of Iowa Cancer Center Excellence Fund.
