He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard Siepman, James Siepman and Marcia Schulte-Elliott; and his parents, James "Leo" Siepman and Ruth Dee Siepman.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Severson; his children, Amy Strain (Chris), Tammy Siepman and Dan Siepman (Jessi); and his grandchildren, Jacob of Cedar Rapids, Lauren Strain of Cedar Rapids, Zach of Cedar Rapids and Colton Siepman of Cedar Rapids.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
