In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Dirks and Maurine Dirks (Stingley); and his brothers, Kermit Dirks and Keith Dirks. He is survived by: his wife Lynda "Folkers" Dirks; his children, Shawn Walker, Heidi Puccinelli (Joe) and Charles Dirks (Mary); and his brother William Dirks (Linden). He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
