She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Zachar and Edith Zachar (Stepanek); her daughter Ann Ollinger (Trcka); her brothers, Thomas Zachar and Joseph Zachar, Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Trcka and Marcia Zachar; and her great grandchildren, AJ Blue and Elias Kowalewski.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Lois Trcka of Cedar Rapids, Timothy Trcka of Cedar Rapids, Janet Goodhall (Gary) of Clive, Robert Trcka of Chaska and Mary Trcka of Lancaster, Texas; her son-in-law Brian Ollinger of Ames; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Trcka, David Trcka (Dolores) and Judy Zachar. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations to honor Joanne may be made to Xavier Catholic Schools System or All Saints Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
