With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne G. Wohlgemuth of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Elke Wohlgemuth; her granddaughter Lilia Gilson; her significant other Don Walderbach; and her father Ray Merrifield. She is survived by: her children, Chris Burgin of Cedar Rapids, IA, Adam Walderbach of Cedar Rapids, IA, Brittany Walderbach of Cedar Rapids, IA, Allie Walderbach of Cedar Rapids, IA and Cassie Walderbach of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Will Burgin, Evie Walderbach and Micah Williams; and her siblings, Diane Acker of Hiawatha and Gene Merrifield (Desziree) of Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Go Fund ME Account or to the Willis Dady Shelter.
