It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Haeg of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerome Haeg to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rose; his brother Howie; his sister-in-law Betty Haeg; his brother Ed; his sister-in-law Jane Haeg; his brothers, Dick Haeg and John Haeg; and his son-in-law Scott Neff.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Grummert (Jeff) of Deshler, Lynn Hancock (Kelly) of Cedar Rapids and Debra Neff of Altoona; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Caleb Grummert of Kearney, Cody Hancock of Sydney and Hannah Neff of Altoona, Iowa.; and his sister Monica Weinmann (Dick) of Blaine, Minnesota.. He is also survived by sister and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
A vigil service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel (1221 1st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude's Catholic Church (50 Edgewood Rd NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). The inurnment will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Iowa Veteran's Cemetery.
