It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerald Schumacher of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schumacher and Kathryn Schumacher (Otting); his children, Bethany Schumacher, Matthew Schumacher and Anthony Philip Schumacher; his brothers, Jack Schumacher, Jim Schumacher, Joel Schumacher and Jan Schumacher; and his siblings-in-law, Don Wilson and Diane Schumacher.
He is survived by: his nephew Josh; his fiancée Jane Roushdi of Cedar Rapids; his children, Josh Schumacher (Amanda) of Cedar Rapids and Tanja Tirado (Matt) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Anthony Schumacher, Jacob Schumacher, Zakkary Halstead and Liam Huston; his siblings, Judy Wilson, Jeff Schumacher (Kathy), Jeannie Schumacher (Jim Elliott) and Joan Schumacher; and his cousin Bella.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cobble Hill (219 2nd St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401).
