She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Farris and Marie Farris (Conger); her husband Kenneth Barnell; her brother Dennis Farris; and her pet Doodles.
She is survived by: her children, Brigitte Steimel (Mike) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kenny Barnell (Michelle) of Fairfax, IA and Joe Barnell (Krista) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Hannah, Hope, Hailey, Brynlee, Masen, Calvin and Madeline; and her sister Janet Hawley (David).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House.
