It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason D. Blocker of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 9, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Blocker and Becky Blocker (Appleton); and his nephew Michael Blocker. He is survived by: his siblings, Craig Blocker (Dianna) of Missouri, Jim Blocker (Dianne) of Michigan, Rob Purdy (Angie) of Florida, Shannon Phelps (Andrea) of Evansdale, Pat Blocker (Neil) of Colorado, Kari Brown (Dwaine) of LaPorte City and Shimmin Averhoff (Daryl) of Finchford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Iowa Donor Network. Jason's final act of love and kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation.
