Janalyn White Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janalyn White of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Spirit Lake, Iowa, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janalyn White to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Hanson and Florence Hanson (Dahlstrom); her husband Timothy Speer White; and her brother Donald Hanson. She is survived by: her children, Julie White of Aiken, Ned White (Claire) of Buffalo and Steve White (Mindi) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her grandchildren, Slade, Thor, Bjorn White, Avery, Samantha, Lucy and Emily White; her sister-in-law Leone Hanson of Arlington; and her pet Sally.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (220 40th St NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Christ Episcopal Church or to Mt. Mercy University.
