With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ismael Dominique Martinez of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose life came to an end on February 18, 2025 at the age of 47, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Abraham, Beatriz Martinez, Jim, Sally Rife and Esperanza; his aunts and uncles, Manuel, Teresa, Senorina, Ramiro, Fidelina, Mary and Tamara; and his pet Luca.
He is survived by: his father Ismael "Mike" Martinez; his sisters, Rina Bates (Eric) of Galva, IL and Rosy White (Jeremiah) of Cedar Rapids; his nieces and nephews, Dominic, Josephine, Oliver White of Cedar Rapids, Victoria and Elaina Bates of Galva; his girlfriend Tracie Graham; his pet Oscar; his siblings, Rafael, Elizabeth, Edy, Manny and Omar; and his mother Cheryl Rife Martinez of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A vigil service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (120 5th St NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405).
