She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Ruby and Mary Ruby (Roche); her husband Merrill Pitlik; her siblings, Pat Morse (Marv) and Dick Ruby (Shirley); and her great grandchild Maximilian.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Byersdorfer (Bob) of Fairbank, Greg Pitlik (Joyce) of Morton and Andrea Covington (Wayne Courtney) of Kensington, Maryland; her grandchildren, Adam Byersdorfer (Amanda), Benjamin Byersdorfer, Caleb Byersdorfer (Rosanna), Meredith Torres (Michael), Tyler Pitlik, Larry Covington (Tracy) and Blake Covington (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Evan, Braden, Jacob, Ilse, Anna Lena, Edgar, Frederick, Quintin, Olivia, Michael, Mitchell, Faith, Matthew, Merrill, Hope, Kate and Killian; and her brother John Ruby (Audrey) of Laguna Niguel, California. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
