With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harlan R. Johnson Sr. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 16, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Johnson and Anna Johnson (Pfeifle); his wife Imogene Johnson; his son Lloyd Johnson; and his siblings, Fred Johnson, Marvin Johnson, Harley Johnson Sr. and Donna Campbell.

He is survived by: his son Harlan Jr. Johnson (Tammy) of Marion, Iowa; his grandchildren, Joshua Johnson (Joslin) and Holli Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Kannon Johnson, Carmen Martinez and Kaisson Martinez.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Marion American Legion Post #298.
