He is survived by: his father Ernest "Jim" Vlasek of Ely, Iowa; his wife Vickie Vlasek; his children, Will of Cedar Rapids, Wyatt of Cedar Rapids and Weston Vlasek of Cedar Rapids; and his sisters, Angie DuBois (Joe) of Chardon and Julie Ozmun of Swisher, Iowa..

Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (1224 5th St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401).
