She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Wendel and Glenda Wendel (Melhus); and her brother Jim Wendel. She is survived by: her husband Rodney Smith; and her children, Kathleen Petersen (Leo) of Tennessee, Cynthia Kriegermeier (Rick) of Fairfax, Judith Urbanek of Cedar Rapids and Allan Smith (Shirley) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; as well as her siblings.
Memorials in Glennys' memory may be directed to Living Center West in Cedar Rapids and the Alzheimer's Association.
