He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton G. Sjullie and Rita Sjullie (Krall); his sister Audrey Hyke of Cresco; and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Decker of Cedar Rapids; his son Gregory (Adriana) of Elmhurst, IL; his grandchildren, Kristi Sjullie-Pick (Alex), David Sjullie Jr. (Claudia), Alexander Sjullie and Marcus Sjullie; and his great grandchildren, Allie, Cassandra and Dalina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.
