He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester J. Stewart and Alice Stewart (Shaull); his wife Winifred Duncalf; his son Alan Stewart; his siblings, Loren Stewart, Evelyn Kubichek, Donald Stewart and Merle Stewart; and his grandson Craig Stewart.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Ellen Fuller (Daniel) of Cedar Rapids; his daughter-in-law Carol Stewart of Belle Plaine; his grandchildren, Rebecca Lauer (Brian) of Troy, MO, Phillip Stewart (Amy) of Belle Plaine and Thomas Stewart (Niamh) of Seattle, WA; and his great grandchildren, Carley, Ben, Evie, Savannah and Anthony.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (1302 9th Ave, Belle Plaine, IA 52208). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
