He is survived by: his wife Barbara Maxwell of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his children, Carol Rezabek (David) of Cedar Rapids, Mark Maxwell (Laurie) of New Haven, Connecticut and Matthew Maxwell (Varsha) of Madison, Wisconsin; his granddaughter Cameron Rezabek; his siblings, James Maxwell (Barbara), Nan Pratt, Patrick Maxwell, Timothy Maxwell (Jean), Theresa Chisholm, William Maxwell (Doris), Peter Maxwell (Debbie) and Paul Maxwell (Terri); and his siblings-in-law, William Carroll (Rosemary), Thomas Carroll (Carole), Jane McNinch (Tom), John Carroll (Janet), Mary Hajek (Jon), Marcia Cooper (Tim), Steve Carroll (Becky) and Greg Carroll (Pam).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (4949 Council St NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to HACAP, the Red Cross, Oldorf Hospice House, or the family in Jerry's honor.
