He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kerkove and Sarah VanDee Kerkove (Holderness); his son Robert; his children-in-law, Penny VanDee and Lyle Collingwood; his siblings, Ambrose VanDee Kerkove and Mildred McGuire; and his half-sisters, Mary George, Patricia Parsons and Helen Mendenhall.
He is survived by: his wife Carol (Dede); and his children, Paula Stacey (Tom), Sherry Collingwood and Kevin VanDee (Jean). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
