He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Stoltenberg and Esther Stoltenberg. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Rae Cooper; his siblings, Arlene Gilbert and Marlin Stoltenberg of Mason City, Iowa; his children, Terri Dyrland (David), Mark (Annette) and Brad (Vicki); his grandchildren, Kylie Stoltenberg of Gilbert, Jonathan Dyrland (Meegan), Daniel Dyrland (Megan) and Emi Balk (Kenneth); and his family, Matthew Gray and Dr Rasa Buntinas. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
