He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Delany; his siblings, Elaine Backwalter, Marie Malichky, Bertha Ehrenberger and Arden Bell; and his parents, Alva Bell and Hazel Maple Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Bell of Cedar Rapids and Dave Bell; his grandchildren, Cameron Matheny (Sarah), Nicole Matheny, Stephanie Steele and Whitney Bell; his great grandchildren, Max and Griffin Matheny; and his sisters, Margaret Bloomquist and Joyce Hartzler.
