He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas and Donna June Wilcox (Sacora); and his siblings, Thomas, Doug, Bruce, Cathy and Karen.
He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Lance Smith (Monique) of Oregon City, Kristen Carpenter (Justin) of Marion and Ben Wilcox (Katie) of Marion; and his siblings, Roger Wilcox of Cedar Rapids, Jeff Wilcox (Nancy) of Marion, Paul Wilcox (Karen) of Cedar Rapids, Tim Sacora of Oregon and Tracy Anderson (Scott) of Jacksonville, Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established in Gary's honor.
