He is survived by: his children, Danielle McMickle (David) of Cedar Rapids, Nathaniel Underwood (Sarah) of Springville and Corey Underwood of Des Moines, Iowa; his brother Jeff McMullen of Roanoke, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Noah, Aidyn, Brayden, Eli, Ryley, Addisyn, Carsyn, Damyn and Alaryc; his significant other Edith Chase of Cedar Rapids; his pet Sophie; his former wife Wendy; and his siblings-in-law, Randy and Maria.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up on Go-Fund-Me to cover costs.
