He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Lester and Jessie Lester (Gardner). He is survived by: his wife Mercedes "Mickey" Lester of Cedar Rapids; his children, Kristie Mortland (Micheal) of Cedar Rapids and Jess Lester of Cedar Rapids; and his grandchildren, Sylvona Lang (Chase) of Swisher, Chetney Spears (Drew) of Geneva, MacKenzie Lester of Newhall and Mitchell Lester (Macy) of Fairfax. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
