It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Ruth Christophersen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Lake City, Iowa, who passed away on November 11, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Christophersen and Lulu Christophersen (Snyder); her children, Christine and Jeffrey Bacon; and her brother Charles Christophersen (Carol).
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Bacon and Shannon Belknap (Jeff); her grandchildren, RJ Truitt (Beth), Ryan Bacon, Jr., Austin Bacon, Cody Belknap (Erin) and Kayla Ralston (Logan); her great grandchildren, Cameron Belknap, Cecilia Belknap, Simon Belknap, Hadleigh Ralston, Oaklynn Ralston, Raelynn Bacon, Alyviah Bacon, Layla Bacon and Tucker Truitt; and her brother Robert Christophersen (Marlene). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (513 Sycamore St, Muscatine, IA 52761).
