With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn M. Owens of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Shellsburg, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Ferguson and Gladys Ferguson (Sanders); her daughter Dena M. Owens; her siblings, Vivian Ferguson, Marvin, Louis, Warren (Janelle) and Raymond L. Ferguson (Betty); and her in-laws, Raymond Owens (Joyce) and Don Owens (Elaine).
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Dean" Owens; her sons, Dave and Darren Owens; her grandchildren, Eric Owens, Daryl Owens (Ciera Wood), Tori Hale and Dan Owens (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Daelyn, Adelyn, Darcie Owens, Quinn Hale, Daisy and Daphne Owens; and her in-laws, Virginia Ferguson, Doris, Melvin Burt and Jim Owens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
