Elizabeth Hohensee Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 88, Elizabeth Hohensee of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Hohensee; and her parents, Clarence Ruley and Elizabeth Ruley (Gerjets). She is survived by: her children, Becky Kopp (Gilbert) of Cedar Rapids, Craig Hohensee (Eileen) of Blaine, MN, Stephanie Rosendale (Donald) of Marion and Eric Hohensee (Mary) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hakert (Andy), Amy Hohensee (Gijs), Allan Rosendale and Chloe Sievers (Cameron); her great grandchildren, Allie, Ashton, Caitlin, Tesla and Ronin; and her brother Donald Ruley (Sue). She is also survived by loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hope United Church of Christ (150 9th Ave, Hiawatha, IA 52233).
