He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Volesky and Rose Coufal Volesky. He is survived by: his wife Karen Meskimen; his children, Katheryn Volesky of North Liberty and Don Volesky (Jodi) of Swisher; his grandchildren, Taylor Volesky (Alex Grieve) and Dillon Volesky; his sister Judy Dunn of Cedar Rapids; his brothers-in-law, Ron Meskimen of Marion and Dale Meskimen (Linda) of Norway; and his nieces and nephews, Dr. Chris Dunn, Dr. Michael Dunn, Dr. Ann Dunn, John, Nicole and Danielle Meskimen.
A vigil service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (50 Edgewood Rd NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405).
Memorials may be directed to the family for an established memorial fund.
