He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy Sue Allan; his stepmother Marilyn Allan; his brother-in-law Joe Ruddy (Norm Koscinski); and his parents, Edward II and House Allan II of Maryland.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his sons, Chris Allan (Jess) of Dyersville, Greg Allan (Staci) of Cedar Rapids and Rob Allan (Breanna) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Lucas, Carter, Mallory, McKinley and Hayden; his in-laws, Bill Ruddy (Mary), Ann Slowinski, Margaret Ruddy and Cathy Pretz; and his stepsister Karen Koscinski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
