He is survived by: his former wife Katherine Corcoran; his child Chris Castelein (DJ) of Hiawatha, Iowa; his grandchildren, Sophia Castelein and Owen Castelein; and his sister Grace Castelein Fisher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Promise House Memory Care unit or an Alzheimer's charity of the donor's choice.
