Donna L. Dalecky Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna L. Dalecky of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Dolores Cook; her daughter Abbie DeWitt (Roy) of Cedar Rapids; her grandsons, Drew (Hannah), Alex, Gavin and Levi; her great grandchild Tracey DeWitt; her sisters, Penny Cook (Brian) of Atkins and Debbie Gates (Ray); her brother-in-law Gary Dalecky of Cedar Rapids; her husband Dennis Dalecky; her parent Dolores Gainor; her parents-in-law, Joe and Libby Delecky; her sister Peggy; her brother-in-law Jerry James; and her nephew Matt Gates. She was also cherished by eight nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Linwood Cemetery (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
