He is survived by: his wife Lorena Kay Chidester; his daughters, Connie Russell (Steve) of Cedar Rapids and Brenda Swanson (Jim) of Shueyville; his grandchildren, Matthew Russell (Morgan), Bethany Gauger (Tim), Kelby Swanson and Clare Swanson; his great grandchildren, Ava and Emma Gauger; and his sister Barbara Black. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
