He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L. Bruce and Leonore M. Bruce (Randall); and his sister Laura Etheredge. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Bruce (Marshall Gifford) and Donald J. "Dude" Bruce (Rose Roepsch); his grandchildren, Emma, Stevana, Jema, Donald Jax and Ivy; and his sisters, Rose Gordon and Cindy Rupe (Randy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
