She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Marie Dapi Lawson of Omaha, NE, Dossi Audrey Fadonougbo of Cedar Rapids, Mawutin Dope Fadonougbo of Lome, Togo, Elpidio Koffi Fadonougbo of Lome, John Fad "Fofo", Zinse Damien Fadonougbo of Cedar Rapids, IA and Cosme Fadonougbo of Niamey, Niger; her children-in-law, Freddy Lawson of Omaha, NE, Alexandra Dede Fad of Cedar Rapids, Pirenam Chantal Kidaoule of Cedar Rapids and Germaine Adjoa Tossa of Niamey, Niger; her siblings, Marie Adalbert Messan of Cote d' Ivoire, Didier Messan Koudossou, Albert Edoh Messan Koudossou, Akouete Messan Koudossou (Pepin Messan Koudossou) and France (Dosseh Messan Koudossou); her husband Nounagnon Desire Fadonougbo; and her parents, Kokou Messan Koudossou and Akoele Dogbevi. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the New City Church (5335 Midway Dr NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405).
