She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Ross Livingston and Zella Livingston; her husband Bennett Fischer; and her sister Jean Dunkle. She is survived by: her sons, Ross (Susan) of Olathe, KS, Robert (Linda) of Vinton, IA and Thomas of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Ross Il, Courtney (Rodrigo Soto), Kelly (Addison Price), Katie (Casey Ratlief), Michael (Kelly), Andrew (Katie), Brian (Monica) and Elizabeth Fischer; and her sister Irene Schnoebelen. She is also survived by Four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Friends of the Vinton Public Library or directed to the family.
