He was predeceased by: his daughter Patience Jean; his brother David Long (Kathy); his grandson Bentley; and his parents, Royal Long and Phyllis Worrall Long.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Long (Lisa) of Palo, Scott Long (Nicole) of Cedar Rapids, Daniel Long (Kristal) of Cedar Rapids and Kristie Jacobs (Greg) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Tyler (Mara), Brodey, Bryce, Caelan, Bradley, Levi, Branden, Aspen, Alex, Allison (Tony), Karlee (Ben), Patience, Bryanna, Lilyanna and Jasmine; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Noah, Lindsey, Easton, Emmitt and Ellie; his brothers, Doug (Carolyn) and Eric Long (Sheila); and his wife Michelle Ann Helms (Shelly).
Memorials may be directed to the family to be put toward Dennis' favorite charity.
