She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Steffen (Wally) and Bessie Steffen (Arp); her sister Deanna Boedeker; and her nephew Craig Boedeker. She is survived by: her husband Jerry L Simpson; her children, Michael Simpson (Alissa), Shelly Simpson (Shelby) and Sue Grimm (Terry); her brother Leo Steffen (Joan); her brother-in-law Frank Boedeker; her grandchildren, Adam Simpson (Kendra), Ryan Simpson (Kenzie), Spencer Grimm (Katie McCoy) and Madee Boss (Jon); and also Cindy Hilsabeck. She is also survived by family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, (so Jerry does not have to water them), memorials and cards may be directed to the family.
