He is survived by: his wife Doris Smith; his daughters, Susan Wallace (Dennis) of Minneapolis, MN, Deb Rhoades (Mark) of Cedar Falls and Sherry Gehlsen (Steve) of Ames; his grandchildren, Leigh Martin (Jason), Adam Rhoades, Sarah Edwards (Nathan), Meagen Rahm (Will), Elizabeth McClure (Kevin), Emily Wallace, Allison Fuller (Jordan), Lucas Gehlsen and Ryan Gehlsen (Paige); his great grandchildren, Willow, Ayla Martin, Liam, Lilia, Lucia Edwards, Rhys, Myles Rahm, Abi, Sydney McClure, Aslynn, Maelynn, Ezra and Kohana Fuller; and his brother Rodney Smith (Glennys).
