He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Block and Jennie Block (Uben); his wife Dee; his son Timothy; and his brother Dale.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Hedges (Tom) of Eagan, MN and Delinda Byers of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Brandon, Abby, Aaron, Callie and Megan; and his brothers, Dean and Edward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials will be directed by the family to his favorite charities.
