He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Oliphant and Mildred Oliphant (Goughner); his nephew Mark Muenzenmeyer; and his brothers-in-law, Gene and Don Muenzenmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Oliphant; and his sons, Matthew Oliphant of Cedar Rapids and William Oliphant of Osceola, Wisconsin..
