He is survived by: his wife Jan Miller; his children, Brett Slaughter (Elana Wilson) of Columbia, MO and Abby Slaughter of Phoenix, AZ; his granddaughter Adriana Slaughter; his mother-in-law Jo Miller of Eldridge; his siblings, Keith Slaughter (Diane) of Iowa City, Rick Slaughter (Peggy) of Iowa City and Brenda Ewing (Joe) of Iowa City; his sister-in-law Katie Slaughter of Amana; his nieces and nephews, Randy Slaughter (Jan) of Lone Tree, Rod Slaughter (Elizabeth) of Nashville, TN, Todd Slaughter (Tracy) of Robins, Chad Slaughter (Allyson) of Solon, Clayton Curtis (Laura) of Holly Springs, NC, Shaun Slaughter (Melissa) of Iowa City, Lindsey Fudge (Ronan) of Iowa City, Raelyn Slaughter (Sean Kelly) of Dallas, TX, Andrew Ewing (Jordan) of Ankeny, Tom Ewing (Jana Everett) of London, Nate Ewing (Jane Nguyen) of Denver, CO, Olivia Ewing of Denver, CO and Grant Ewing (Kathryn Rapp) of Iowa City; and his siblings-in-law, Jeff Miller (Jane Chiappinelli), Brad Miller (Trish), Laurie Sexton, Amy Miller and Dan Miller (Jill).
